Standing

Midscreen Standing Combos

For when you hit an opponent while they are standing at midscreen. These are generally not going to be very damaging.

Combos are formatted here with [name] // [difficulty] // [damage] // [after-combo-resources]

5AA > 2B > 5B > 2AB > 236B // 1133 Damage // Notes

Catches mashing, your opponent can reversal or roll on wakeup, but you can block and bait these if that becomes their go-to option

5AA > 2B > 5B > 2AB > 214A > 236236B // 2487 Damage

Variation of the standard setplay bnb for more damage, you should only use this if it will kill, your persona is broken, or if you're pushing your opponent deep into awakening

(Opponent gets hit by 236B setplay) > 5AA > 2B > jump cancel > (delay) j.5B > j.5A > (land) 5AA > 2B > 5B > 2AB > 236B // 2377 Damage // Notes

(Opponent gets hit by 236B setplay) > 5AA > jump cancel > j.5B > (land) 2A > 5AA > 2B > 5B > 2AB > 236B // 2149 Damage // Notes

When your opponent doesn't block on wakeup and is hit with 236B setplay standing, and you want to switch sides. Sweep can be cancelled into 214A > 236236B for damage (2988).

j.5B (optional) > (microdash) 2B(1) > 5C(2) > 214B > 5AA > 5C(1) > 22B > (delay) 214A > [Enders are the same as the crouching variant. Look here for the enders] // 2830+ Damage // Vary depending on ender

This is the standard crouching confirm but for standing opponents. Microdash into 2B(1) allows for momentum so that both hits of 5C will connect. Variations for enders can be found in the crouching combo section for midscreen.
